IRIE is a new and unique awards initiative boldly drawing attention to the incredible influence the music of Reggae has had on the cultural landscape of England, and other parts of the UK.

This event has been borne out of the need to add our weight from an alternative angle in relation to this beautiful music which has spanned and influenced the globe.

All VIP Judges and Presenters have been carefully chosen for their expertise in this industry…in some ways, we view the IRIE Awards event as being more akin to a summit.  

We counter misleading perceptions by highlighting the positive aspects of this music by providing the strategic thinking, community insight and creative excellence which produces exceptional relationships between brands and people; a unique blend designed to sow the seeds of unity, friendship, understanding and enrichment amongst the varied genres which Reggae has influenced.  

IRIE provides a platform to draw attention to the good and the great.  Until now, there has not been an awards ceremony of this calibre; filled with the glitz and glamour you’d expect.

The organisers have a combined experience of over 100 years in marketing, entertainment, campaigning, and activism, shining a light on this wonderful music and the role models who make us soo proud. 

This magnificent occasion will build a legacy and we’re honoured to have the interest of many important figures all over the world supporting this cause.

IRIE is here to recognise and honour the international contributions and the impact Reggae has made on other genres, and equally, how other genres have influenced Reggae; a beautiful gift from Jamaica to the rest of the world which deserves its well-earned status in the industry.
